Changing Windows7 My Documents Location

change windows 7 My documents folder easily.Follow the below steps guys.
1.go to start find my documents and right click it.
2.click the properties menu
3.one small window open
change-my-documents-folder-in-windows 7
4.click include folder
5.browse location for where you store mydocuments folder.
6.i can store in my d:drive .browse d:drive and create new folder name(my documents)
7.then click the include folder button.
8. after include button.it will added to document properties window(see the below screenshot)
9.Finally click the apply  button.
10.now u see the my documents folder in D:drive.
Note: if u want to remove old my documents location.go to documents properties.highlight the old one and click the remove button.

How to remove the shortcut's windows

Some people dosen't want to show arrows in shortcuts. Its pretty easy to change icons as normal looking.

1.Open your registry by typing command regedit in Run window
2.Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile , remove the IsShortcut string entry because this entry is used to control if show arrows on shortcuts of common Apps and Data files
3.Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile,also remove the IsShortcut entry because this entry is used to control if show arrows  on shortcuts of MS-DOS programs
4.Log off and login ,you will find the arrow is removed

How to change logon background/screen in windows 7



If you think the usual logon screen is quit bore to see. You have a option to change it to your favour. Look at the following steps to do….


1.First launch regedit then go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background

2.Change the vaulue of  OEMBackground to 1,which indicate to enale logon background customization  in windows 7

Tip:If you can not find this entry in your registry,please try to create one.
3.Go to %windir%\system32\oobe\ ,create folder info then create another folderbackgrounds under info,then copy your own background picture here and rename it tobackgrounddefault

Note:The size of this picture must be less than 256k ,or it will not work.
4.Done,you can see your new logon background after logoff.It’s so easy,isn’t it!
