Android Google Voice App Now Supports ICS Voicemail Integration

Any Android users with devices that are running Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system. Might be pleased to know that Google has now released an update for their Google Voice for Android application which now brings with it support for voicemail integration.
Google Voice Android
The updated mobile application enables you to view and listen to your voicemail directly from the call log on your Android phone. Once the update has been installed your voicemails will then appear alongside your outgoing, incoming or missed calls in your Android phones call log. Enabling you to simply touch them to start listening to the message.
Other features within the update allow you to slow down the playback of messages which is useful when you need to jot down their callback number. Or speed up playback for those longer messages when you need to skip to a certain place within the message.
To enable the new feature download the latest from the Google Play store and then check the “Voicemail display” option under the settings. Enjoy!

Angry Birds Space Not Coming To Windows Phone

Yesterday Rovio Mobile launched their latest Angry Birds game, Angry Birds space, and the game is now available on the PC and Mac, plus Android and iOS.
It looks like Rovio Mobile has no plans to bring Angry Birds Space to Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, and according to Rovio it is too expensive for them to bring the game to Microsoft’s platform at the moment.
Angry Birds Space
Rovio Mobile’s Peter Vesterbacka told Bloomberg the reason that we wont see Angry Birds Space on Windows Phone anytime soon.
If you look at activations, Apple’s iOS and Android are clearly bigger than any other platform,” he said. “We want to be on all screens, but we have to consider the cost of supplying the smaller platforms. With Windows Phone it’s a lot of work to technically support it.”
If Microsoft and Nokia want people to buy their Windows Phone devices, then they are going to have to make it attractive for game developers to port their applications to the platform, and considering Angry Birds is the world’s most popular mobile game, you would think they would be doing everything they could to get the game on Windows Phone 7.
